Patch 10.19 will bring some changes to League of Legends’ meta just before Worlds 2020 begin.
Mark Yetter, Lead Gameplay Designer for Riot Games, has teased some of the incoming adjustments in Patch 10.19. While he stressed the fact that most changes will be relatively minor, but for the teams qualified for Worlds it will make quite the difference.
Patch Preview for 10.19 is here early!
We're trying to get ahead before the long weekend. This is the worlds patch so expect that the changes will be fairly small. Full details next tuesday. pic.twitter.com/WmQhQFQ0xm
Especially the Senna nerf is unsurprising as she has been picked constantly during the playoffs across the regional leagues. Caitlyn was also a high value target during the draft and will subsequently also be adjusted.
On the buffing side of things, Aphelios will profit after he has been nerfed several times in a row prior. Sivir and Sylas are also champions that have dominated before being nerfed into the oblivion.
Serious question for you Udyr fans out there. When you ask us for a VGU are you hoping for improvements that stick to the core (like fiddle) or a big overhaul (like sion)?
I think improving the core is my pref because Udyr brings a very unique pure melee playstyle to the game.
More details regarding the update will be announced on September 8. Patch 10.19 is scheduled for September 15, 10 days before Play-Ins start for Worlds 2020.
