League of Legends Patch 10.24 brought some changes to the mid lane tier list. Currently dominated by ability power assassins, the new item changes may put a dent in their reign.
Yasuo and Yone both received updates that are not categorized as a buff or a nerf to their passives. A full explanation of the update can be found here and how this affects the tier lists.
Fizz, Zed, and Galio remain at the top of mid lane despite item changes. Fizz and Zed are elusive assassins with versatile kits that allow them to stay relevant and effective regardless of item changes.
Galio is the tank, anti-mage of the mid lane. He holds a unique niche that makes him a viable choice into any AP match up.
Mid Lane A Tier
The A tier consists mostly of mages, such as Zoe, Annie, and Malzahar. Champions capable of putting out massive amounts of damage with plenty of crowd control for team fights. With strongly timed attacks, Zoe, Annie, and Malzahar can put up fights against the top assassins in the mid lane.
Mid Lane B Tier
With updates made to their passives, as well as the item changes in Patch 10.24, Yasuo and Yone find themselves in the B tier. The AP items punishing them were nerfed, which should allow them to regain some footing and become stronger picks in the mid lane.
