Should you play Genshin Impact on PC, Console or Mobile?

First and foremost, if it’s graphics and stunning visuals you’re after, your choice will almost exclusively be on PC. It offers the most customization and options and you’ll be blown away by visual quality if your PC allows it. The PlayStation 5 is a close second however and while visual quality is lower on mobile devices, it’s still very much serviceable and shouldn’t be a deterrent.

There’s another reason to opt into the PC however and that’s the easy access to cross-save function. It’s very easy to link up your PC and mobile device to your account, which allows you to whip out your mobile device and gain progress, with you being able to continue on PC on the same save once you’re home again. Things are more difficult in that department on other platforms.

Obviously the mouse and keyboard or controller are big points in the favor of both PC and console, while you’ll have to play the game on a touchscreen if you don’t have the necessary peripherals on your mobile device. All in all, we’d suggest you play Genshin Impact on PC as it’s bound to have the best performance, best visuals and best controls, while the console is close second. Having the mobile device there for when you go out is a great option to have, though.
