Should you play Pokémon UNITE on Switch or mobile? - Pokemon Unite | esports.com

Should you play Pokémon UNITE on Switch or mobile?

With two versions of the game being available, it’s natural that players have been debating which one of the two offers you the best (or most comfortable) experience when playing. First and foremost, both games offer the same features, same content and the same gameplay, which should in theory eliminate this kind of debate. However, some players have remarked that the controls could make a difference.

Many players have argued that the controls on mobile are more forgiving and can be executed quicker, which can be listed as a great advantage when playing any kind of MOBA game. That’s basically where the advantages end, however, aside from the fact that on mobile you can play on the go if you’ve got access to 4G and there’s no WiFi. Players have reported that Mobile versions of the game crash more often, though.

In the end, it doesn’t really matter which one you prefer. While the Switch most likely offers you a more comfortable option when at home, also being able to play on a bigger screen, mobile sure has merits. You’re also able to play on both platforms with the same account and Pokémon UNITE already offers full crossplay, so you’ll never really notice the difference. It just comes down to personal preference.
