Silenx to sub in for Nitr0 in 100 Thieves VALORANT roster

Silenx has been rising through the ranks in the past year, most recently playing for beastcoast among other amateur teams. He’ll now get the opportunity to play with one of the top tier rosters in North America during his time with 100 Thieves, despite their recent lack of success.

100 Thieves also has not been very active in recent tournaments as the VALORANT Champions Tour inches closer, with them playing their first match later today with Silenx in the roster. During the qualifier they’ll play with 127 other teams in total, fighting for one of the top 8 spots, which reward a spot in Challengers 1.

Replacing Nitr0 will prove to be a tough task however, as the American has shown himself to be one of the best players in the game and a pivotal piece of the 100 Thieves puzzle. He decided to make the switch to VALORANT after a long and quite successful career in CS:GO, most notably playing for Team Liquid who he won quite a few tournaments with. As he recently started a family, he’ll be taking a small break from competing for the time being.
