Sony announces colorful Galaxy Collection for PlayStation 5

Sony has announced new designs for PlayStation 5 and their DualSense controllers. With colorful variations, players can individualize their console with their own touch starting January 2022.

While the PlayStation 5 remains difficult to acquire for most as the supplies are still limited, Sony has now announced some customization features for its next-gen console. The new Galaxy Collection offers different colors for your PS5 and its controllers.

You will be able to choose from five different colors:

DualSense Wireless-Controller ($74.99):

• Nova Pink
• Starlight Blue
• Galactic Purple
• Cosmic Red (already available)
• Midnight Black (already available)

PlayStation 5 Console Covers($54.99):

• Nova Pink
• Starlight Blue
• Galactic Purple
• Cosmic Red
• Midnight Black

According to the official blog you will be easily able to swap out your original white console cover for the color of your choice. Global release will be January 2022 but you can already pre-order them from PlayStation Direct.

Local retailers will also offer the new colors, so make sure to keep an eye out for them.
