Surprise nerf for the Krig 6 – Still meta for Call of Duty: Warzone?
Very low recoil and acceptable damage made the assault rifle a popular choice amongst the players. The nerf is quite surprising as many considered the gun to be quite balanced. Raven Software mentioned a couple of small updates on its official twitter. The latest patch included the weapon change for the Krig 6 and CX-9 along with some other bug fixes.
Will the assault rifle hold its ground in the current long range meta?
FaZe Simp’s Call of Duty tips – How to get better:
The developers from Raven Software mentioned the weapon changes in a twitter post on August 5th:
🛠️ We have pushed an update to #Warzone with a couple Weapon tweaks 🙂
Krig 6 (BOCW)
Lower Torso Multiplier decreased from 1.1 to 1
Maximum Damage Range decreased from 1500 to 1400
CX-9 (MW)
Increased mid damage range from 20 to 21
Increased Headshot Multiplier from 1.4 to 1.45
The latest patch adjusted the damage of the Krig 6. The weapon changes are quite small and most players should not notice a difference. However, the competitor QBZ-83 is definetly the better weapon now, as it was very similar to the Krig in every aspect.
The QBZ-83 and the Krig 6 are now swapping places in our guide for the best assault rifles. This guide includes the meta builds you want to use for both guns.
