Sylar already kicked from 4AM?

It has only been a day since the inception of the Four Angry Men Dota 2 roster, but there is already a controversy starting up. Apparently Sylar has been removed from the team within the day.

Allegedly Dota 2 veteran Liu “Sylar” Jiajun did not even last a day on Four Angry Men (4AM). According to several rumors he has been dropped immediately as 4AM is trying to sign Vici Gaming’s Zhang “Eurus” Chengjun instead.

On the original announcement many fans were already wondering why Eurus was absent as he had been tied to the new team in all the prior rumors.

Will 4AM get their hands on Eurus?

Apparently the four other players of 4AM were not aware of Sylar’s recruitment to the team and protested to the management. When it became known that the deal with Eurus fell through since 4AM was unwilling to pay the buyout fee, the players supposedly agreed to wage cuts to have Eurus on their lineup.

Sylar confirms kick on stream

Sylar himself allegedly confirmed the kick on his stream, but there is no VoD available. If the rumours are true, 4AM is most likely undergoing a second round of negotiations with Vici Gaming to acquire Eurus for their roster.

Another source of credibility for the current rumours is the removal of the Dota 2 team announcement from 4AM’s official Weibo. While the move itself is not that controversial as Eurus is widely considered to be the better player at the moment, the treatment of Sylar has drawn criticism from the community.

Should Eurus eventually join 4AM the team will truly feature a “best of” the current Chinese scene.
