The 10 most popular games on Twitch during July

As we head into August we take a look back at July’s most popular titles on streaming platform Twitch.

Which games were you extensively watching during last month? New releases like Ghost of Tsushima? Or did you stick to your usual games? Here are the top 10 compiled according to Watch Time by sullygnome.

League of Legends continue to reign supreme on Twitch. As the Summer Splits draw to a close in August numbers will only go up again.
Fortnite continues to lord over the Battle Royale competition. Chapter 2 Season 3 has brought quite a splash to the title and players enjoy it.
GTA V proves once more that it is still one of the largest communities on Twitch. Keeping hold on to their third place in July.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remains in the top 4. With Season 5 coming up in August it might break into the top 3.
VALORANT has established itself quite well on Twitch. Securing the fifth spot Riot´s shooter moves up 2 ranks and profits from CS:GO´s player break.
Who needs cutting edge graphics if you can just have infinite mods and replay value? Minecraft keeps up with other titles and takes the sixth spot for July.
Even without top tier esport competition CS:GO continues to draw in fans. Ranked seventh the player break did affect the views, but it is still a top title on Twitch.
Valve´s second flagship follows up right after CS:GO. Although there is no TI this year for Dota 2, players continue to enjoy the game and drive the prize pool to new heights.
Blizzard´s MMORPG World of Warcraft moves into the top 10 despite being mostly in preparation for the upcoming next expansion Shadowlands. We can expect those numbers to go up once the new add-on is out.
The second Battle Royale of the top 10 is Apex Legends. As Respawn Entertainment continues to release new content for the players the game continues to thrive albeit in the shadow of Fortnite.
Ghost of Tsushima just missed out on the top 10 by one spot. The PlayStation 4 exclusive title has earned generally positive reviews and seems to be the last smash hit on the PS4 before the upcoming next generation of consoles.
