5. Irelia
There’s no doubt that Irelia is just one of those champions that can take over games. She can be played in the top lane as well as the mid lane and can deal tons of damage to unprepared teams. She requires quite a bit of skill and talent to play, which often boosts her popularity, even if she isn’t the strongest of states. She most certainly is right now, however.
4. Fiora
Fiora is another one of these champions that can dominate when games go late if she gets going. She’s very strong in the current meta and if you’re good at the champion, you can outduel your opponents at every step. We might not see much Fiora in pro play, but in the right hands, she’s devastating.
3. Camille
Did someone say carry top laner? Well, Camille certainly fits the bill. She’s great at split pushing, can deal tons of damages, has skillshots and boasts quite a bit of mobility. Carry top laners are often preferred in solo queue matches, but Camille also sees quite a bit of pro play.
2. Mordekaiser
Mordekaiser is a comfort champion for many. He’s relatively straightforward but has a few tricks up his sleeve. It’s also one of those top laners who can bully champions and change a teamfight’s direction with a well-timed ultimate.
1. Sett
Sett might not have been featured on the rift as long as others on the list, but he’s certainly become a crowd-favorite. He’s got a useful set of abilities and can be great in 1 versus 1 duel as well as pick teams apart with a great combo featuring his E and Ultimate.
