League of Legends is one of the most consistently streamed video games in the world and has countless personalities providing both educational and entertaining content.
Whether you are looking to improve at the game, or just watch some fun games of League, there are plenty of streamers to choose from. Though every stream brings something to the table, here are our picks for best League of Legends streamers in the game.
LS – Coach, analyst, and streamer
Nick “LS” De Cesare has been in the gaming and esports industry for countless years. At just 18 years old, LS permanently moved to South Korea to pursue a career in Starcraft though ultimately switched to League of Legends. Since then, LS has worked as a coach, analyst, and streamer for many teams, including: CLG, bbq Oliver, and most recently T1. Now a full-time streamer, LS’ broadcast are the perfect mixture of entertainment and educational content.
LS is particularly known for his wide knowledge of ‘off-meta’ picks and itemization. Every patch, you can fully expect LS to do a comprehensive rundown of every upcoming change to the game. LS also has some incredibly useful coaching streams where he teaches individual players. Countless players that have been coached by LS have reached extremely impressive heights, such as Gabriel “Bwipo” Rau and Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami. You can also expect former Fnatic midlaner, Tim “Nemesis” Lipovsek to make regular appearances on the stream. Ultimately, there is no streamer with a blend of content quite like LS.
Caedrel – From one broadcast to another
Marc “Caedrel” Lamont is a famous example of a player-turned-host for the LEC. Caedrel spent years in the ERLs but most notably played on H2k, Schalke 04, and Excel as a jungler before retiring. Now, Caedrel is a staple in the LEC broadcast after only one competitive season and provides some of the most fun and insightful content on broadcast.
Most recently, Caedrel raced Agurin (ERL Jungler) on who could reach the highest rank exclusively playing Lee Sin. Caedrel went on to win this competition and later even reached the top of Challenger in ranked soloqueue. At times watching through the show ‘Cops’ on Youtube, Caedrel also has years of professional experience that can be quite useful to aspiring players.
Lilypichu – Rift Rivals and Offline TV veteran
Lily “Lilypichu” Ki has been playing League of Legends for years and has some of the most entertaining LoL content around. Though Lilypichu has expanded into a wide variety of content, encompassing both IRL and other games, she has almost always returned to League of Legends. As a member of the Offline TV house, she is often joined by the likes of Michael Reeves, Disguised Toast, Pokimane, Yvonnie, and more for some entertaining full stacked games.
Lilypichu has also made several appearances in the popular Twitch streamer LoL series, Twitch Rivals. Primarily maining Lux, both in midlane and support, Lilypichu has her comfort pick down pat.
Destiny – Debater, streamer, Tristana main
Steven “Destiny” Bonnell is most well known for cultivating the now expansive political and debate side of Twitch, however he is also an avid League of Legends streamers. Though perhaps playing LoL to this dismay of his chat, his streams may be the most unintentional funny content on Twitch. Most often playing Tristana and Draven, Destiny’s play on high-risk, high-reward champions often result in rather lopsided matches.
Destiny has played with some of the LCS’ most familiar faces in the past, such as Aphromoo. Though Destiny’s other content is often divisive, his League of Legends streams are highly enjoyable, and he streams LoL rather often. For a unique community, Destiny is definitely worth checking out.
Tyler1 – From banned to LoL’s face
Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp has one of the most storied histories on League of Legends. In 2016, Tyler1 was indefinitely banned for toxicity from League of Legends, and made plenty of enemies at Riot Games by making countless alt accounts. In that interim period, Tyler1 flourished as a variety streamer, playing other games and pulling off some of the best IRL streams in Twitch’s history. Tyler1’s ban lasted for two years and was eventually lifted in 2018.
Since returning to League of Legends, he has reclaimed his spot as the number one LoL streamer in both numbers and content. Tyler1 has led All-Star teams at official Riot Events, played on the main stage before the LCS finals, won Twitch Rivals, and even hosted his own tournament where countless LCS pros have competed. No one has put as much into the LoL esports ecosystem as Tyler1.
