Perks in Call of Duty Vanguard are far different than those in past iterations of the franchise. True the 1940s setting of World War II, the perks are often times more basic, though still have a drastic impact on the game. With a clear meta being set only weeks after the game’s release, here are our picks for the must-use perks in Vanguard.
Ghost
Ghost is undoubtedly the most widely used perks across both Vanguard and Warzone. Being undetectable by spy planes, field mics, and other enemy intel gathering sources when mobile is invaluable. This perk will allow you to get the jump on opponents easily.
Dauntless
Mobility is incredibly important in Call of Duty, with Vanguard being no exception. Being able to run around the map, from objective to objective, without the worry of immobilizing effects is a clear benefit. Dauntless allows exactly that, as movement reducing effects are rendered useless.
High Alert
High Alert is similar to having eyes in the back of your head. Whenever enemies outside your immediate field of view spot you, you receive an audio clue that lets you know you’re being aimed at. While not accounting for how you may respond to this, this provides vital intel.
Demolition
A mainstay in the Call of Duty franchise, Demolition allows one extra lethal on spawn. Lethal projectiles cannot be undervalued in CoD, and being able to clear our players or objectives with an extra frag grenade, Molotov, or any other projectile of choice is a clear benefit.
