The entire Twitch source code and creator earnings have reportedly leaked
The torrent that is circulating features over 120 GB of information and includes a lot of information on the popular streaming platform, with the entirety of the source code, payout information, information on upcoming and abandoned projects and much more. Many people are currently scraping through all the data and are continuously finding new stuff. The information might also contain more encrypted information, so it might be worthwhile to change your password.

Some people already found the payout information of some of the top streamers over at Twitch and posted a comprehensive list, with some very big numbers. Top streamer xQcOW had a September 2021 payout of over 750.000 dollars, with Summit1G following behind on 360.000 dollars. It also includes the gross payouts, which sees streamers earn amounts which easily reach millions of dollars.

Finally there’s also hints of Twitch having plans for an, albeit currently unreleased, competitor for Steam. The alleged hack has a lot of people in an uproar and while the information still hasn’t been confirmed to be real, a lot of it does seem relatively credible. We’ll keep this article updated as more information releases.
