The most useful console commands in CS:GO custom matches
Want to make sure you and your friends are ready to go to practice or get the most fun out of a private server? In this article we will give you some commands which make training easier and let you unlock the full potential of the servers at your fingertips.
Is it cheating?
Well, no. ‘sv_cheats 1’ is one of the most important commands that you can use in your custom match. It disables many other restrictions which could hinder your progress, such as noclip and others.
Noclip
This command enables you to simply fly through the map and get anywhere in no time at all. Typing it in the console once more disables the feature again, meaning you act like a normal character in game.
Grenade trajectory
To find out which grenades work, or where exactly they don’t work, you can input ‘sv_grenade_trajectory 1’ and ‘sv_showimpacts_time 10’. When you throw utility after inputting these, you will see a trail of its trajectory, which will last for 10 seconds. Flying after your utility with noclip will make it easier to see how it will land or what blocked it from reaching the goal.
Configs
The easiest way to make sure everything is set though, is downloading or making your own configuration. This way you simply have to activate the config, which then enables all the useful commands you like!
