Tips for every stage in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Fall Guys – Ultimate Knockout is currently the talk of the town. But to secure the crown at the end, players have to weather the storm of mini games before. With our tips and tricks you can easily qualify and win.

Fall Guys has brought the nostalgia of obstacle courses in the vein of Takeshi’s Castle to gaming. Mixed together with Battle Royale elements it has dominated Steam and Twitch since release.

In order to beat the other players and be the last Fall Guy standing players compete in minigames to advance through the stages.

How to qualify for the next round

The stages in Fall Guys are varied. Some are races on obstacle courses, others are team battles. Here are our best tips to make it through the stages:

Survival Stages

Roll Out | Goal: Stay as long as possible on the turning platform to reach the next round. | Tips: Keep moving. Choose larger and slower platforms on which you can stay for a longer time. Remain calm if you get grabbed by others and don't dive. ▲

Block Party | Aim: Avoid the blocks that are trying to push you into the slime. | Tips: Pick a position on the end of a platform to increase your time to react. You can also climb on top of the walls to the side, but it is risky. Keep an eye on the flat blocks coming your way and don't get stuck on them. ▲

Perfect Match | Aim: Memorise the fruits on the platforms to choose the correct platform to stand on. | Tips: Stay in the middle of the platforms. Only pan your camera around to get a grasp on the displayed fruits. Don't just blindly follow other players. ▲

Tail Tag | Aim: Steal a tail of your opponents and keep it in your possession until the timer runs out. | Tips: If you have a tail, run into a group of other tail owners to blend in. You can use the hammer in the center to quickly traverse distances. If you are hunting only use the dive if you are 100% sure on getting the tail. ▲

Team Stages

Egg Scramble | Goal: Secure the most eggs for your side in this three team battle. | Tips: Keep an eye out for the golden eggs, they are worth more points. Protect your nest from opponents. If raiding yourself you can snatch eggs and dive to toss them out of the opponents' nests. ▲

Hoopsie Daisy | Goal: Jump through hoops to collect points for your team. | Tips: Keep moving around and search for spawning hoops. While airborne you can dive to adjust the direction of your jump. Don't chase after others, focus on finding your own hoops to jump through. ▲

Jinxed | Goal: One player per team is jinxed. He can spread it by touching other players. Once a team is jinxed entirely they are eliminated. | Tips: Keep moving and try to be unpredictable. You can bait players chasing you into the obstacles on the map. Once you are jinxed focus on defending your teammates from the opposition. ▲

Rock N Roll | Goal: Three teams have to move a giant ball into the goal. | Tips: Don't try to go for both opposing teams' balls at the same time. Always stop the slower ball. Remember to keep enough players on your own ball to push it. Push the balls of the enemies towards the wall as they can get stuck there. ▲

Hoarders | Goal: Seven balls are spread on the map. The three teams need to control them on their side of the map. | Tips: Always try to keep three balls in your area and defend them afterwards. Attack the team with the least balls in their zone. You can grab opponents in your zone to buy time. ▲

Race Stages

Slime Climb | Aim: Reach the goal at the end of the parcours before the rising slime catches up to you. | Tips: Slow and Steady wins the race. You can also use several shortcuts to skip hurdles. Try to avoid reckless jumps once the slime draws near. ▲

See Saw | Aim: Traverse a path over the seesaws faster than your opponents. | Tips: Teamwork is key in this stage as the seesaws will need to be balanced out to make a safe pathway. Risky jumps or dives can be very helpful. Walk straight across seesaws if possible. ▲

The Whirlygig | Aim: Reach the goal before others to qualify. | Tips: The yellow blocks are too crowded in most cases. You can also grab onto the higher ledges and pull yoursefl up to them. Blocks from behind can also push you forward if necessary. ▲

Dizzy Heights | Aim: Fight your way across turning platforms and falling balls. | Tips: Always walk in the direction of the spinning platforms - never against. You will be much faster. Keep an eye on the gaps prior to the final platform. You can grab other players at the end of the ramp to sabotage their jump. ▲

Fruit Chute | Aim: Dodge the avalanche of fruits while running towards the end of the conveyor belt. | Tips: Keep to the edge of the conveyor belt, fruit are less likely to hit you there. You can use other players in front of you for cover. Don't forget to jump over the lumber rolling your way. ▲

Final Stages

Fall Mountain | Aim: Make your way across the parcours to snatch the crown at the end. | Tips: You need to be almost flawless to win. Only take risks if you are already behind. Don't dive for the crown if it is too high up. ▲

Jump Showdown | Aim: Don't get knocked off the platform. | Tips: Position yourself to only need to dodge one obstacle at a time. Try to stay in the center. Grabbing players is ill-advised as it might mess up your jump timings. ▲

Hex A Gone | Aim: Run across disappearing hexagons until you are the last player standing. If you fall into the slime you lose. | Tips: Avoid other players, keep your own pace. If no other players are around you, you can jump from one hexagon to another to maximize your time on a level. ▲

Royale Fumble | Aim: Secure the single tail in the game when the timer runs out. | Tips: Always keep moving. Avoid jumping or diving as you are faster running. Try to be unpredictable in your running pattern. ▲
