VALORANT First Strike North America to start October 26
After Riot announced First Strike at the end of last month players have been eagerly awaiting additional details. North America is now set to start their qualifiers in October 26.
With $100,000 US-Dollar up for grabs the still young VALORANT scene is about to start their first major tournament after the initial “Ignition Series” earlier. The first Riot-produced tournament will offer equal opportunities for all as there are no invites.
All teams need to fight through qualifiers to earn themselves a chance at glory. For North America Riot will host two massive open qualifiers with up to 128 teams in cooperation with Nerd Street Gamers (NSG) and Engine Media (UMG).
The First Strike: NA Qualifiers are almost here! The competition will begin on October 26 with our first open, 128-team tournament, produced by @nerdstgamers.
First up will be the Nerd Street Gamer qualifier starting on October 26. The Top 4 teams of the NSG qualifier will secure their berth at First Strike North America, while places five to eight will be seeded into the following UMG qualifier.
The final four slots for First Strike NA will be given to the Top 4 of the UMG tournament.

After the conclusion of the UMG tournament on November 22, the final eight teams will duke it out in December (03.12.-06.12) to crown the first First Strike champion.
