The Pacific Patch which has brought the newest map to Call of Duty Warzone, Caldera, has brought a plethora of new features, weapons, vehicles, and unfortunately bugs. Due to the transparent Trello board that Raven Softwares shared with the public, we are now acutely aware of every known and unknown issue to the game.
One of the newest and potentially most game breaking bugs was discovered earlier in the week and pertains to player’s abilities to aim down sights on sniper rifles. In a reddit post, a Warzone player posted video evidence of this new bug, showing an inability to ADS while wielding a sniper rifle.
The video quickly went viral on both Reddit and beyond and drew the ire countless community members both critical of the various prevalent bugs in the game and those who found the situation humorous. While many joked that the Kar98 was ‘nerfed again’ others shared their experiences with very similar bugs.
Though this glitch only recently surfaced, it is not clear how widespread this is and if Raven Softwares has this issue on its radar. The Warzone developers have been diligent in patching the game as new bugs arise, as only days ago Raven Softwares launched two quick hotfix updates in the same 24 hour period. With some much attention going into Caldera only weeks after its launch alongside Call of Duty Vanguard, players may not have to suffer through this bug for very long.
