Warzone players complain that bugs make game unplayable on consoles
Well, Warzone has been struggling with quite a few bugs as of late, with most of them being encountered by console players, as PC players report issues far less often. One of the most infuriating bugs is the ‘error 47’ one, which leads to the game not being able to load on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Many people have taken to Reddit to complain about the issue and it does seem to be quite widespread.
But that’s far from the only relevant bug. Players have been reporting issues with textures and trees across the new map, which seem to be broken more often than not. Another visual bug sees trees failing to render, while other players have reported broken camos on their guns, which are flickering all over the place.
Preferential treatment?
There’s certainly other issues that have gotten in the way as many fans are accusing the Warzone developers (and Activision) of showing preferential treatment to PC players. They recently pointed towards the fact that console players still have no FOV slider, which would give them a better experience, while the PC players do have it, giving them an advantage over console players.
Definitely aware of this, especially that I speak as a console player.
Thing is, if I tweet literally anything then it will become a headline which wouldn’t be fair on me or the team. I just hope that these patch notes make it clear; you are being heard, and we are listening.
We’ll have to wait and see if these issues get resolved, as the new map certainly made things worse. With the holidays coming up and many people playing the game on console, chances are we’ll see even more bugs show up.
