Warzone – Why the normal Suppressor is meta now

Since the release of Warzone one attachment has been almost mandatory all the time. The final unlockable muzzle was always a good choice. Regardless if Monolith or Coloussus from Modern Warfare or GRU or Agency out of Cold War, the additional range and hidden location on the map made these muzzles too good to pass up.

But since the release of the newest patch there is another option that could be used on some weapons. The regular Suppressor from Cold War has been heavily buffed.

New short range meta

Starting with Season 3 Reloaded the suppressor gives you 100% muzzle flash concealment, improves your ADS speed and bullet velocity as well as your Sprint-to-Fire time. All these bonuses only cost you a little bit of effective damage range, which really does not matter too much on SMGs anyway.

You can see a detailled rundown of the numbers by the Youtuber TheXclusiveAce:

On sniper rifles the suppressor not only reduces your range but also you aim stability. Especially for naturally long range snipers you can easily make the switch over to the suppressor. One of the weapons where we would recommend that is the ZRG 20mm. You can also consider it on the Kar98 or the Swiss K31, since they do not care too much about range and rely more on speed.

More Call of Duty:

Although you lose some range in comparison with the other muzzles, you will be much more mobile and faster. The suppressor is also unlockable much faster than the others.
