Why this Welgun loadout is insanely broken in Warzone right now

Warzone’s meta is almost constantly evolving, as the ‘most powerful’ loadout is constantly fleeting. DMRs, ARs, and countless other loadouts have had their moment on top before eventaully being nerfed out of relevancy. In the recently released Caldera map in Warzone’s Pacific Patch, SMGs are seemingly back on top with the Welgun spearheading the charge.

While the Bullfrog, MP5, and MAC-10 were all quite powerful at the beginning of the season, the MP40, PPSH, and Owen Gun clearly took over Warzone’s meta. The Welgun is the newest addition to Warzone, and players have already created some ‘broken’ loadouts.

In its base state, the Welgun posts an impressive time-to-kill rate with incredible mobility. With additional attachments to stabilize recoil, accuracy, and slightly increase damage, the Welgun can be crafted in a nearly unmatched SMG. Though not the end-all-be-all, this is the common consensus among Warzone players for the most busted Welgun build.

Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 48 Round Mag

Perk 2: Fully Loaded

Unfortunately, this loadout requires a fully unlocked Welgun, so you’ll need to play quite a few lobbies with the ‘sub-optimal’ version of the weapon to unlock this broken build. Endorsed by countless Warzone pros, the Welgun can certainly help you climb to the top of Warzone.
