Expansion pack number eight is just around the corner for Blizzard’s MMORPG World of Warcraft. Starting next week players can get a first look at things in the beta.
As of now the Shadowlands Beta had only been available to a handful of Streamers and Testers. Blizzard has now decided to open up the beta to more players beginning next week. All you need to do is register for the Beta.
How to register for the beta
Visit the official Shadowlands website and log into your Blizzard account. Once you are logged in you can click then scroll past the new features to find the button to register for the beta.
After a single click you are part of the raffle for beta access starting next week. Blizzard has not yet announced an official date for access.
New features
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will let players explore five brand new zones in the Shadowlands, the afterlife of the Warcraft universe. Oribos, the eternal city, will serve as new hub for players to explore the new areas and exchange Anima, a new currency and power.
Shadowlands will also introduce Covenants. A brand new system that lets players choose between four factions with unique rewards, abilities and more.
